Yamaha 30 HP Long block Motor. Removed from FRESH WATER running outboard. Motor did start and run for a brief moment , but carbs were leaking so i cut it off.

I looked it over and checked the compression. The compression varies from cylinder to cylinder, it may come up after running for a while as the unit has been in garage storage for years. Top Cylinder - 115 psi. Middle Cylinder - 125 psi. Lower Cylinder - 130 psi. Does not include any electrics, carburation or exhaust. Just the Basic motor stripped down as shown. Some of the pictures were taken before it was disassembled and show parts that are not included. THE BOTTOM BOLT WHERE GROUND IS ATTACHED TO ENGINE BLOCK BROKE OFF AND IS STILL IN THE HOLE. I RECOMMEND TO JUST USE A DIFFERENT BOLT FOR THE GROUND! Removed from 1996 Yamaha 30ELRU Outboard with Electric start.
